Fees and Payouts
TipTheShow is designed to make tipping simple for fans and transparent for performers.
There are no setup fees, monthly fees, or subscription fees. TipTheShow only earns when you receive digital tips.
How fees work
When someone sends you a tip, fees are deducted from the tip amount, and the balance is paid to you directly.
Fees include:
Payment-processing fees charged by Stripe
Platform fees charged by TipTheShow
The remaining balance is paid to you through your connected Stripe account and deposited to your bank account according to your Stripe payout schedule.
Payment processing fees
Tips are processed securely through Stripe.
Stripe is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, the highest certification level available in the global payments industry.
TipTheShow does not see, handle, or store card numbers or banking information. Payment and payout details are handled securely through Stripe.
Platform fee
Digital tipping includes payment-processing and platform fees, but only when a tip is received.
For cashless fans, that usually means no tip at all. TipTheShow helps performers get tips that they may otherwise have lost.
No setup or monthly charges.
Total Fees (Stripe and TTS)
| Tip Amount | Base Fee | 6 % | Total Fee |
| $5.00 | $1.00 | $0.30 | $1.30 |
| $10.00 | $1.00 | $0.60 | $1.60 |
| $20.00 | $1.00 | $1.20 | $2.20 |
This fee helps cover the cost of operating the platform, maintaining performer pages, supporting secure checkout, QR tip links, payment routing, platform security, and ongoing improvements.
When do you get paid
Stripe will deposit your available balance according to your Stripe payout schedule. This may depend on your country, bank, account status, and Stripe’s standard payout timing. Typically no more than 7 days.
How you get paid
Tips are paid to you by Stripe, directly to your bank account.
Your payout information is managed securely and exclusively by Stripe. TipTheShow does not see or store your card or banking information.
Refunds, disputes, and adjustments
If a tip is refunded, disputed, reversed, or adjusted by Stripe, the related amount may be deducted from your available balance or future payouts.
Tax note
Whether tips are cash or digital, performers are responsible for tracking and reporting their own income as required by their local tax rules.
TipTheShow does not provide tax advice. Please consult a qualified tax professional if you have questions about reporting tip income.
